Sexual Actualization Jack Morin in Anal Pleasure and Health: A Guide for Men and Women defines taboo as “a form of psycho-social control more potent than even the most rigid moral code. . . . A taboo is a prohibition collectively shared by a society, with a force so strong that it is rarely questioned or even discussed. It just is.” (Morin, p.16.) The term “Sexual Actualization” is a term I modified from Abraham Maslow’s theories of the hierarchy of needs and “Self Actualization”. Sexual Actualization is a life process of developing sex-positive abilities of uninhibited sexual expression between two or more consenting adults that is free of social conformity and social rules of sexual behavior. This includes written, spoken, unwritten, and unspoken social conformity and social rules of sexual behavior. It also includes freedom from the influence of sexual taboos. Open the Door To Human Sexuality Sexual Actualization opens the door to experience the full range of human sexuality. It allows each individual to explore a wide variety of relationship models, a wide variety of sexual behaviors, and a wide variety of sexual adventures. It can open the door to a deeper realization of gender identity. It can include, but is not limited to romantic love, self-love, physical sex, sacred sex, sex play, sex healing, BDSM, creative artistic sexual expression, and explorative sex. In full sexual development of our knowledge base, we become knowledgeable about sexual anatomy of all genders, our own bodies, and how human beings function on a sexual level. Regular PC muscle exercises become part of our daily practice. Regular erotic massage, either practiced on oneself or received by another is another element of Sexual Actualization. Learn Sexual Arts The process of Sexual Actualization includes learning and practicing advanced human sexuality. Learning about Tantric sex, Taoist sexual techniques, Western sex magick, spiritual aspects of BDSM, and the Kama Sutra are all good sources of information of advanced human sexuality. In the process of Sexual Actualization, one is able to experience a variety of types of orgasms. With training, females can learn how to have ejaculatory orgasms and males can learn how to have full body orgasms and multiple orgasms. At higher levels, one can experience spiritual sexual ecstasy, channeling erotic energy through one’s body for rituals and for other people, the art of sex healing, and out-of-body orgasms. It is about discovering for oneself through actual experience what different types of sexual behaviors work and feel good instead of closing our mind due to prejudice and preconceived notions. It is about opening our minds to honest sexual exploration, not bowing down to the pressure of conformity, peer pressures, myth, negative labeling, and taboo. Sexual Actualization is a life process of developing sex-positive abilities of uninhibited sexual expression between two or more consenting adults that is free of social conformity and social rules of sexual behavior. This includes written, spoken, unwritten, and unspoken social conformity and social rules of sexual behavior. Ultimately, orgasms occur in the brain. A person can experience an orgasm during a dream without any external stimulation. A person can experience an orgasm, purely from fantasy. By learning how our bodies work, one can learn how to experience a broader range of orgasms. By learning that male and female anatomy is more similar than different, we can experience many different types of orgasms, thus helping us to reach sexual actualization. |
